This specialization helps students deliver high caliber theatrical experiences through vocal, physical, and creative expression. Performers will immerse themselves in a dynamic cohort of singers, dancers, and actors, and work alongside world-class faculty.

Voice and Musical Movement - (3 Credits)

Voice and Musical Movement - (3 Credits)

In this class, students will work together to expand their physical limitations and to uncover their natural voice. Using different techniques and exercises, students will explore the boundaries of their breath and body. The freedom a performer gets when there is a marriage of physical and vocal awareness is integral when approaching text and creating the life of a character.

Acting for Musical Theatre - (3 Credits)

Acting for Musical Theatre - (3 Credits)

In this class, students learn a basic understanding of theatrical acting through observation exercises, theatre games, improvisation, and scene work. This course mixes technical theory with non-stop opportunities to perform and be on stage.
